Artifact: ITEC 7445 Evaluating Emerging Technology
The artifact I am using to research, recommend, and implement policies, procedures, programs and funding strategies to support the implementation of a shared vision represented at the state, school, district, and federal technology plans is the Emerging Technology Presentation for Minecraft I created in ITEC 7445. The purpose of this artifact was to research and recommend a technology tool to support the social emotional learning (SEL) for students in grades K-12. The artifact supports the implementation, research, differentiation, and the coast of funding Minecraft Education technology to support a shared vision for technology plans and guidelines.
This artifact supports the research, recommendations, and implement policies, procedures, programs and funding through careful analysis and presentation of the technology tool for key stakeholders at the school level. These strategies outlined in the emerging technology presentation provide a technology tool to guide the shared vision of students developing their social emotional experiences in the classroom through strategies such as collaborative models and innovative creations. Detailed information about how to implement this tool, recommendations for classroom use, expectations, and strategies provide teachers with various uses for Minecraft to support SEL through collaboration and creativity among peers. This focus also outlines the funding required to implement this shared vision of collaboration and creativity through various forms. There is flexibility for teachers and specific requirements, student population and limitations enable key stakeholders to make thoughtful implementation decisions about whether this is the technology tool that can support SEL for students through collaboration and creativity in the classroom. Research, specific recommendations, procedures and funding is included in the presentation as well. The presentation for this technology took tome and research to determine best use, procedural expectations and funding to ensure success in meeting the shared vision for SEL at the school, district and state level.
After completing this artifact, knowledge of an emerging tool explores shared at the school level. This means more teachers are gaining new knowledge and skills to provide meaningful learning opportunities for students. These new skills encourage collaboration and creativity among peers. Teachers forget to focus on SEL and this technology tool enables teachers with a few implementation strategies to promote SEL in their classroom.
The work that went into creating this artifact influences school improvements and faculty development by providing new emerging technology information and strategies. Access and knowledge about new technologies keeps teachers in the know about school, district and state technology guidelines. This information is important when considering planning academic lessons and activities. The research, recommendations, procedures and funding information provided in this emerging technology presentation allows teachers to make instructional decisions to support student’s SEL in the classroom.
